Six old friends, wanting to see ancient rock paintings created by primitive people, go to the wild Australian countryside. A student of anthropology named Dace, hoping to get materials for his scientific work, offers friends to spend a few days in a picturesque place located far from civilization. While he is working, friends will be able to relax in nature. Late in the evening, one of Dace's friends, Mel, decided to swim in the lake. Soon she was horrified to find a corpse being devoured by maggots. Thanks to the help of comrades, the girl was able to remove the parasites that managed to move to her body. After a while, the young lady began to have a fever, after which her teeth suddenly fell out. In the morning, the unfortunate victim of circumstances turned into a terrible monster with sharp fangs and a desire to taste human flesh. When she disappeared into the forest, the others decided to find her. Later it turned out that Mel wasn't the only one infected.
