A charming girl named Bitty Mishra, who lives in Bareli, one day escapes from home. This happened after another attempt by dad and mom to marry her off to the groom they themselves chose. The wayward young lady absolutely did not want to become the wife of a man about whom she knows nothing. While waiting for the train, the main character purchased a book called "Bareilly Ki Barfi".
Quite quickly, to her great surprise, she realized that she was very similar to the main acting character of the work, Barfi.
